My name is Ashley Bione and my husband is Chris Bione. We own Hometowne Tax Prep and Accounting in Shawnee. We have two beautiful boys. Alex is ten and Nathan is five. Chris has been a part of Hometowne since 2017. I started in 2020. Hometowne Tax was previously owned by Gerald Bione. He built this business from the ground up over 27 years ago. He has worked hard to provide excellent tax and bookkeeping services to Pottawatomie county and surrounding areas. We will do our best to continue that legacy. 

When you do business with us, you are not just our clients, you are family. I did not realize how close this tax family was until last year.

2020 was hard for everyone in some capacity or another. It was especially hard for our family. Gerald's throat cancer came back after seventeen years. At the end of 2020, he had to have surgery that rendered him without the ability to speak anymore. With God's, power and his will to live, he was able to beat it and came back the next tax season to take care of his Clients.

So many clients reached out. We had calls from all over. People were checking on him, praying for him, or just letting us know they were thinking about him. On the day of his surgery, I remember feeling the prayers coming in from all over the country. His surgery was twelve and a half hours long. 

All this to say, we are not a big firm. We will not charge an arm and a leg to prepare your return. We are here all year long to answer your questions or concerns. We appreciate you. When you call, there will be a person on the other end of the phone.
